less is a minimalist, and minimal journal exploring the notion of less. Content will include text pieces, short essays, images and other media. Each issue will normally consist of just one piece, either new work or a reprinted piece. less is conceived as an anthology issued in individual parts, each part existing in isolation for contemplation, and yet part of a project that loosely gathers under the conceptual idea of 'less'. less
is edited by Julie Johnstone and published several times a year by
Essence Press, normally in a handbound edition of 250. PDF versions can be read
